Changing your email password E-mail

The first time you use your new email account, you will want to change the password. The Burroughs Group will give you a temporary password, however we strongly suggest you change this. To change your password, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate your browser to: www.yourdomainname.com/webmail
  2. A login window will pop-up. In the Email Address field, type your entire email address.
  3. Type in your password (case sensitive)

    NOTE: If you try and fail to log in five times in a row, the system will automatically block your IP address. You will no longer be able to access your site or email. If this happens, you can contact us and we will unblock your IP address. To find your IP address, just go to www.whatismyipaddress.com And call or email us with your IP address.
  4. After successfully logging in, you will see your online email control panel. The first three buttons, Horde, SquirrelMail and Round Cube are just different interfaces to check your email online. Experiment and pick the one you like the most. If you want to set up your email with Outlook, click here.

  5. The first item you will want to do is to change your password. Click "Change Password" in the lower left.
  6. Type in your new password or click "Generate Password" to automatically generate one.
  7. Retype your password
  8. You will get a green check mark (if it's the same password) at the end of each text field. Click "Change" to accept your new password.
  9. Congratulations. You've just changed your password.

Note: We do not store passwords. If you lose your password, we can create another temporary password, however we have no access to passwords you use.
